How to notify us
You can tell us about your bereavement online. Don’t worry, you don’t need a login or account details.
The form will ask for your details and a few details about the account holder. We’ll then take care of the rest.

What happens next?
What we do next depends on whether anyone is still living at the property:
- If someone is still living at the property, we’ll simply change the name on the account. The account number and details will stay the same, but all future bills will be in the name of the person living there.
- If someone new is moving in, we’ll close the account and send a final bill to the executor. We’ll then open a new account for the new resident.
- If the property is empty, we’ll close the account and send a final bill to the executor.
- If the property is empty, we will close the account and send the final bill to the executor.
