A new water main along Grove Hill, Hellingly, has been installed successfully as part of an ongoing programme to improve our water supply network.
The old, unreliable main had burst multiple times in the last five years. The new 970-metre water main will reduce the likelihood of disruptive bursts and subsequent repairs.
The £280,000 project, which began in September and took 16 weeks to complete, will secure the top-quality drinking water supplies to the area for years to come.
