We’ve completed a £100,000 project to reinforce the current water network within the Holborough area. We installed new equipment to ensure that there is sufficient supply and pressure in the area and will secure the supply of top quality drinking water to our customers now and in the future, as the community grows.
Work started on Monday, 30 October, and took around five weeks to complete.

We’re pleased to say that this £100,000 project to reinforce the network in Holborough has now been completed. The working area has been returned to its original state and we have left the area. Thank you to the local community for your patience as we carried out this vital work.

We undertook four connections to the existing network last week under pressure to ensure no customers were impacted. Works to install new apparatus is underway at with the aim to be completed on site by the end of this week.

We've completed the first phase of this project on St Peter's Bridge. The next phase begins today, in the footpath and verge alongside the A228 near the Halling junction, and all traffic management has been removed from Peters Bridge.

The first three connections have been made, and the bypass pipework installed. This will enable us to better monitor the flow of water in the area. This week, we’ll be returning the current working area to its original state.
The next phase of work will take place in the footpath and verge alongside the A228, near to the Halling junction close to St Peters roundabout.

We’ve excavated in the verge and footway to expose the area needed to install our new bypass, with the first connection scheduled for Tuesday and the second on Thursday.

Project due to restart
This project is due to restart on Monday 30 October, for five weeks.
For the safety of the public and our team, one lane may need to be closed on the approach to the St Peters Village roundabout.
