This document is the report on the quantitative stage of the Acceptability and Affordability Testing.
It describes the survey design and methodologies alongside customers’ views on the acceptability and affordability of the South East Water AMP8 business plan.
The research aimed to ensure that customers’ priorities and preferences guide South East Water’s PR24 investment plan decisions, supported by evidence that customers find forecast bill impacts acceptable in terms of affordability, service levels, and operational risks over the short and long term.
It explores the reasons behind customer opinions and identifying necessary changes to make the plan acceptable if feedback is negative, particularly during qualitative and quantitative research phases.
