Water and the environment are intrinsically linked.

That’s why we’re about to be the first UK water company to consult on our draft 25-year environmental plan.

Ardingly Reservoir in West Sussex

Over the last six months, we've worked with our stakeholders, employees and customers to co-create a plan which sets out how we'll improve the environment within a generation.

For us, it's about more than just continuing to supply water – we care deeply about the environment and want to protect and enhance it for future generations.

This is reflected in our Purpose, to ‘Provide today’s public water service and create tomorrow's water supply solutions, fairly and responsibly, working with others to help society and the environment thrive.’

This December, we will publish our draft plan so members of the public can have their say and help us identify any areas of strength or weakness.

We know that making lasting change to the environment takes time and that no one organisation cannot do this alone, so we're welcoming offers of partnership working throughout the consultation and beyond.

Please keep an eye on this webpage for more details as our plans progress, and look out for details of how you can have your say on our draft plan before we publish the finished strategy.

You can also sign up to our environment newsletter so we can send you the latest updates on our 25 Year Plan and wider work to protect and enhance the environment.
